Alyssa received a B.F.A in Performance from the University of California, Irvine. At the university she trained under professors Loretta Livingston, Lisa Naugle, Israel “El” Gabriel, Sharon Wray, Donald McKayle, and worked with guest choreographer Pavel Zustiak. She was a member of legendary Donald Mckayle’s Etude Ensemble. She also competed with a collegiate hip-hop group CADC. Alyssa worked for Disneyland as a dancer where she was able to perform with musical artist Demi Lovato and Anika Noni Rose. Alyssa’s has performed with various local dance companies in Southern California; Unity, Entity Contemporary Dance Company, IsadoraNOW, Visionary Dance Theatre, and The PGK Project. Recently, she received the “audience choice” award at San Diego Dance Theatre’s Young Choreographers Showcase. She has been with PGK for a year and is excited to perform again at the Lyceum this season.
Desiree Cuizon-Fejeran grew up dancing in the Bay Area initially as a jazz dance and hip-hop dancer. She achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts, in Dance, from San Diego State University in 2008. Since graduating, Desiree had the honor of performing in Mexico, Switzerland, Germany, and numerous cities in the U.S. with various independent and local artists. She is currently a dance company member for both San Diego Dance Theater and the PGK Dance Project. When she is not dancing she is a Pilates Instructor and Certified Massage Therapist.
Mr. Davis began his dance training ten years ago with the transcenDANCE Youth Arts Project performing group, where his love for dance was nurtured. He studied at The University of The Arts as a modern dance performance major. Mr. Davis trained and performed with the CAC Repertory Dance Theatre, where he studied ballet, modern, and jazz. He continues his education at San Diego Mesa College as a Sociology Major with and emphasis in Dance. Ronald is an emerging choreographer/entertainer that strives for the success in his career in the service and entertainment industry. This is Ronald first year with the PGK dance company.
Studied and trained under the direction of Southwestern Community College instructors while taking class at local studios such as Malashock and San Diego Dance Place. Also dabbling within the operations of dance studios he was on scholarship at CultureShock and Academy of Performing Arts. He participated in a seasonal company, Naganuma 2, in New York in 2014 and then began apprenticing with PGK, December 2014 where he recently moved into the company during the Summer 2015. Aside from dancing he enjoys zoology, learning new movement related activities, and especially loves cirque arts and tumbling. He hopes to create a voice within the dance community to help teach future dancers and the community.
